Master your instrument. Stage Ready students will review the basics and play music from a variety of decades to begin practicing performance songs to prepare for live shows. Students in the stage-ready band programs should have a good foundation of their instrument to allow classes to flow smoothly.​​

 

Play music from every genre. Songs in Stage Ready are chosen to highlight the skills needed to build a strong foundation on a respective student’s musical instrument. We encourage students to bring in their song suggestions that would highlight the skills of the band. 

 

Professional Instruction. Students will receive instruction from professional musicians with a variety of skills. This will help them learn basic techniques, music theory, and the dynamics of playing in a group.

 

A Professional Recording Session. Once per year, the band will attend a recording studio session to record songs from their setlist. Each band member will have access to their recordings to share with friends and family. 

 

Rock Around Town! Students get the opportunity to perform at area festivals and events are a part of this program. Students perform on professional stages in a variety of settings across the eatern shore.
